Paul White brings over 40 years of commercial real estate experience to his clients. He is a recognized trained leader in the field holding the highest regarded commercial real estate designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management, Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) conferred by the International Council of Shopping Centers, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) conferred by the CCIM Institute and Real Property Administrator (RPA) conferred by the Building and Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Paul selects a few cases each year to serve as an expert witness around the country. He reviews each case before accepting the assignment. Based upon his preliminary review, he determines the probability of his being able to add value to the client’s position. Clients understand that during the course of litigation his findings may not support the client’s position. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants.
His cases have included slip and falls and other personal injury cases. He presents the standard of care for property management and property managers including issues of security and safety. He has analyzed operating expenses and CAM charges and determined the reasonableness of such in relation to the market and industry standards. He understands the due diligence process and what the duties of the real estate broker are. As an instructor for IREM, he keeps a breast of current issues by teaching the courses Managing the Physical Asset; Investment Real Estate Financial Tools; Investment Real Estate Financing and Valuation; and IREM Ethics both nationally and internationally. He has served on the Grievance Committee of the Realtors Association of Miami for many years.
